I am 99% sure I found the only ever record of Solidago squarrosa in Plymouth County, MA (that I know of, someone might have found one before me). But how would I go about sending this info to someone here to update the map? I have already made an iNaturalist post for it a while ago: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/130711880

    Answer

Dear rad, good afternoon. I looked at your Solidago observation on iNaturalist. I'm sorry but it is not Solidago squarrosa. That species is not uncommon here in ME (more northern and higher elevation), so I see it frequently. Without images of stem pubescence and leaf margins, I can't provide a confident identification. If you have more photographs of the plant, please post them. Best wishes.
