I have what I hope are better images for what I think is showy goldenrod, hoping for a certain ID. Taken 9/17/22 in meadowlike backyard, western Franklin County, Massachusetts. Thank you!

Dear HuntRoadRaven, the images you have posted are certainly consistent with Solidago speciosa (showy goldenrod). I do not have access to an image that shows the entire plant (i.e., the habit), which would be useful to confirm the identification.
