    There are several of these growing along the Town Bog in Lee NH - upland from the bog. The leaves are opposite and have finely toothed margins. The habit reminds of of a dogwood, but I just can't i.d. it. thank you

    Cear catherine, good morning. I'm not able to see the images clearly enough to give you a confident answer (in one of the images, the focus is on a trunk behind the leaves). It looks like a species of Viburnum (such as nannyberry, Viburnum lentago), but I would need more images to confirm that for you.
