I see this tree everywhere, so I know it is common in the region - located both terrestrial and near wetlands. Can you please confirm the name of this species? I appreciate your time.

Dear karen1619, good morning. I would like to help you, but unfortunately I don't know where "everywhere" is. It is important to supply location information because there are upwards of 500,000 species of plants in the world, and location reduces the number of possible choices down to hundreds of choices (much more manageable).
