Facts
Leafy bush-clover originates from Japan, and only shows up in a few scattered locales in North America, including southern Connecticut and Cape Cod in New England. If is a leafy shrub, growing up to 2 m (6 feet) tall, with pink, pea-like flowers. Like many members of the legume family (Fabaceae), its roots form relationships with bacteria that help it fix nitrogen from the soil.
