Facts

Elliott's bentgrass is an annual grass native to much of the southern half of North America. It is introduced to New England, where it has been collected in Massachusetts and Maine. It is distinguished by the lemma having a delicate, flexible awn 6 - 10mm (0.24 - 0.4 in) long, and a densely pubescent callus.
