Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: Acer nigrum at 43.065, -70.755

by davidtibbetts@aol.com on May 12 2026

Location notes: 10 or more trees spaced along the entire wooded east edge. They all have bright red sampras that make them stand out.

Comments: I found what appears to be Acer nigrum around a cemetery in Portsmouth, NH. Not 100% sure. It is listed as historical for this location.
