Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: Galeopsis bifida at 46.515, -93.718

by dave.banta on August 14 2021

Location notes: off the Tank Trail

Comments: A thick mat of this covers the ground in some places at the base of the slope. I was surprised to find the flowers still emerging! We are in a severe drought. [Note the identification, this is not within the genus Prunella, but rather Galeopsis--admin.]
