Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: Taxus cuspidata at 25 Naushon Ave, Warwick, RI 02888

by Tracey4367 on April 27 2021

Location notes: This Japanese Yew tree (not shrub) is along the street in my front yard. I added a close up. Does this mean my tree is pollen bearing only? And that I would need a companion plant of seed bearing to cross pollinate for berries? I am very amateur, sorry.

Comments: I have been trying to ID this tree for awhile. The only thing that's been throwing me off, is that it has no red berries.
