Sighting: Devil's beggar-ticks at Danbury, CT

Location notes: Came up in the border of my garden. Looked aster-ish but had to be a "weed" as was out of place. I let them grow until I can ID them or just before they go to seed and then pull or leave based on ID. Managed to ID it using Go Botany!

Comments: Double opposed petioles and red stems are striking features.
