Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: Impatiens capensis at 41.24694, -72.97056

by wingbeats551 on July 4 2017

Location notes: Wild area in the back of my yard, which also contains swamp milkweed.

Comments: I am new to wildflower identification, but I think this is mimulus guttatus. I see only one plant and would like to propagate. [This is spotted touch-me-not, a species with a flower that has a nectar spur (absent in the genus Mimulus)--admin.]
