Sighting: Anemone americana at Kent, Connecticut

Location notes: follow the pathway down the Housatonic River till the White Pine andHemlock grow quite tall but don't step on it because it is the only plant growing in the trail.

Comments: I do not see this growing anywhere else but in this same location...year after year, just one tiny little speck of beauty.
