Sighting: Polystichum acrostichoides at 1 Reservation Rd, Sunderland MA

Location notes: The Christmas fern was found on the side road of the 1 Reservation road of the Sunderland.

Comments: Christmas fern is distinctive as they have a lobe on the bottom of the leaf blade which the shape is like a Christmas stocking. It grows in terrestial habitat. The leaf blade is compound. The leaf margin has only small teeth, but no lobe.
