Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: Viola sagittata at Greenfield, MA

by Petros on April 18 2016

Location notes: In the gravel at the edge of my backyard (formerly ag land on a level outwash plain).

Comments: This is variety ovata, with ovate leaves. Started with 2 or 3 plants last year that I spared from pulling, and now have 20+ plants this year! All coming up in the gravel perimeter of my landscaping.
