Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: Eurybia divaricata at Pachaug State Forest

by BrianW on August 23 2015

Location notes: Remote location on a brook where I know it is expected.

Comments: Other locations where I looked for it earlier that day I did not find evidence of it. I go looking for it specifically hoping to see them and watch their season. Rough, thick leaves on this flower, less than 12" height. [The leaf shape, color, and dentition suggest this is Eurybia divaricate--admin.]
