Genus: Woodwardia — chain fern
The sori are long, narrow and have flap-like indusia; they occur in a single row along the central vein of the leaf or leaflet. The secondary veins of the leaf blade split and rejoin to form a netlike pattern. Reference: Cranfill (1993).
