Lilium canadense — Canada lily

Facts

A large, showy lily, Canada lily is pollinated mainly by the ruby-throated hummingbird. Recently, an introduced beetle, the lily leaf beetle (Lilioceris lilii), has been detected feeding on native lilies including Canada lily. This beetle could have strong impacts if it continues to spread.
