Facts
Rose mock-vervain is generally thought of as native to the southern states; in New England, wild populations are non-native and many plants behave as annuals, dying back in the harsh winters. This plant roots at the nodes to produce dense mats that bloom profusely with rounded clusters of bright pink flowers. The plant thrives in poor, acidic, sandy or rocky soils, making it a popular choice for rock gardens and other challenging settings.
