Facts

Creeping bellflower is a very attractive flower, and understandably popular in gardens, but it frequently escapes into disturbed sites such as roadsides and waste areas. However, it is edible, so escaped individuals can be permanently disposed of. The leaves and young shoots are high in vitamin C and mild in flavor, and the roots are edible raw or cooked.
