Facts
Pot-marigold, also known as calendula, is native to Eurasia, and long used in both horticulture and traditional medicine. It is used both topically and internally, to treat a wide variety of complaints. Pot-marigold flower petals are also used in the spice trade as an inexpensive alternative to saffron.
