Facts
Marsh meadow-foxtail is a Eurasian introduction, widely-distributed across North America. It inhabits wet or flooded meadows, marshes and shorelines throughout New England. Although it may form monospecific stands in disturbed wetlands, it is not considered able to exclude native wetland vegetation. However, it is a weed of low-tillage crops in parts of Europe.
