Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: Lechea minor at 205 Providence Highway Dedham MA

by Steph Radner on October 16 2021

Location notes: Rocky ledge near busy roadway, approximately 200m from Charles River; undeveloped land

Comments: Healthy population, 20+ plants observed without actually searching (time constraints). I'm fairly confident in species ID, leaf length:width ratio appears more consistent with L. minor than L. tenuifoloa. Associated plants/flora include Comptonia peregrina, Rubus sp., Solidago sp (puberula?), Antennaria sp., Quercus sp., Cladonia sp., grasses, mosses, lichens.
