Native Plant Trust: Go Botany Discover thousands of New England plants

Sighting: red columbine at 43.15556, -71.47583

by lordarchey on June 2 2017

Location notes: On the side of an overgrown logging road, Thick pine. Rooted in wet and muddy soil.

Comments: I found two solitude plants, while wading through muddy puddles hidden beneath a blanket of jewelweed and pesky blackberry barbs. I totally missed them on the way in. I searched the area for more with no luck.
